Pier at Alleppey Beach

Alappuzha beach, which is considered as one of the hottest tourist destinations in the God's Own Country, Kerala is an add up to the golden cap of Kerala tourism department. This scenic creation of nature is reachable from all forms of transportation. It is very near to the Alappuzha railway station for less than 500 meters. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is over 137 years old. This pier at the alleppey beach once helped transport tons of cargo. The construction of the same is going on in full swing for tourist attraction and revamping the legacy of the ancient trade and transportation. The place is worth in meeting all the expectations of the tourists mainly from outside the country.

The sea is totally calm on some days like the one in the photo.
